AC Greyhound Coming In NOW SOLD
Over the years we have had at least 8 of the 83 Greyhounds made and are familiar with several more. Many Greyhounds lost their Bristol engines in the 1970s / 1980s when Greyhound values were at rock bottom. So it is unusual and a real pleasure to find a Greyhound with its original Bristol 110 2.2 litre engine and overdrive - in our view by far the best spec for this car.

AC Ace Brooklands 1993 Earls Court Motor Show Car NOW SOLD

The Ace Brooklands was the result of an extensive development programme by the "new" AC company controlled by Brian Angliss and Ford Motor Co. The car featured a 4.7 litre Ford V8 in an entirely new stainless steel chassis with aluminium bodywork and about 70 were made between 1993 and 2000. This car was the first production model and the 1993 Earls Court Motor Show car. Sold by the factory to its only owner it has covered 28000 miles from new.

It is some time since we have had an Ace Brooklands and we have been really enjoying this car. We are very surprised how well it drives and how practical and comfortable it is. It has plenty of power but is tractable, the gearbox is sweet and the steering light with powerful brakes. What an interesting car - and something of a bargain!

1913 AC Elite Light Car arrives from New Zealand
This 1913 AC "Elite" Light Car is one of only three or four survivors and believed to be the only one in UK. It was owned by one family in New Zealand for nearly 100 years. ACs reputation was built on the Auto Carrier three wheel vans and the "Sociable" tricar which were produced from the early 1900s but the Elite light car was the first four wheeled vehicle built by the company. It used a French Fivet engine driving to a three speed gearbox in unit with the rear axle. This example is in excellent condition and whilst it has been restored it seems to be very correct and original. It is currently being recommissioned and UK registered.
